Dr. Kate Isaacson is looking for instructors to teach the following undergraduate courses for Fall 2017:
Psychology 143: Group Processes and Communication meets Mondays from 4:30-7pm. This upper division course focuses on developing an understanding of interpersonal, group, and intergroup behavior using experiential learning methods. Topics include verbal and nonverbal communication, problem solving, conflict management, leadership, competition and cooperation, norms and climate, and intergroup influence.
Psychology 124: Physiological Psychology meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30-10:45. This upper division course serves both social science and biological science majors, and is study of the biological bases of behavior. Topics include the physiological process underlying the nervous system, sensory systems, stress and immune function, learning/memory, psychological disorders, and neuroscience.
This is an exciting time to be at HNU as we continue to dynamically grow not only the Psychology Program, but the university as a whole.
