We host meetings with county and community organizations to address workforce development, training, planning, and policy issues for behavioral healthcare providers. Meetings are free and open to the public.
We have plenty of updates for the group and look forward to giving members a chance to share as well. At this meeting we’ll have conversation about updating Workforce Education and Training plans. Counties, their partners and stakeholders all have different processes and experiences, and we’ll spend some time seeing how different counties approach the process of WET update. If you are not involved in county plans directly, it will likely still be very helpful to listen and learn from others. Adrienne Shilton will join us for this call to help us gain some Statewide perspective on updating WET plans.
We’ll also discuss exciting plans for our July “in-person” meeting and Collaborative strategic planning scheduled for this fall.

This month’s meeting features a presentation on the CiMH Competencies Project. Donna Wigand, an author of the report, will review the development of the project, and how this new resource can be used by our partners. Much time and hard work was put into this document and we are pleased with the resulting product which we anticipate will be a helpful tool for many workforce development programs.
We will also discuss some Collaborative updates, including the upcoming Human Resources Forum, and we’ll have some time for partners to check in regarding their work.
